I don't know where I cribbed this list from a year or so ago. I have to admit, there are three or four tunes on this list that I enjoy, but being the musical ignoramus that I am, I don't recognize most of the entries.

Ok, so I like a number of these too. I also believe that Don't Worry, Be Happy is Bobby McFerrin alone not various artists but I suppose I may be wrong about that.

I, too, like a few of these songs--but I grew up in the 60's and the 70's.
So, speaking from my vast store of musical knowledge I can tell you that this is a list from amateur-baby-wimps.
Any "worst song" list that does not include "You and Me Against the World," "The Men in My Little Girl's Life" (from Mike Douglas!) "Honey" (or anything from the Bobby Goldsboro catalog), "Billy, Don't Be a Hero," or "I've Been to Paradise (But I've Never Been to Me)" really doesn't have the depth and breadth to claim the title.
