Super Tuesday

Wow - was it just yesterday morning that I was at campus? It seems so long ago...

I met Otis for lunch at Thai One On in Lake City - it wasn't bad! We went home to medicate Selkie, went out again for a little shopping, and got back in plenty of time to relax a little before cooking a sumptuous dinner:

Stir-fry barbecue-marinated tofu and shoestring potatoes

Broiled porcini mushroom with fresh mozzarella and thyme
Kohlrabi and cucumber slaw
Rustic artisan bread

(This is what happens when I go to the Farmer's Market and a party with four gourmet cooks on the same day.)

What was the occasion for this feast? A visit from Yojimbo!

We had the pleasure of his company before he headed into town for a sleep-study overnight slumber party. Whatever the excuse, it was great to have him over for a meal again.

Shortly after Yojimbo left, I headed down to 45th to meet up with Johnbai, who is enjoying his own vacation this week. We stopped at Araya's (where Johnbai learned the difference between tofu and bean composition) and then walked back up to the RD to hang out while he waited for O to be finished with work. (Maybe we are just the centralized holding area for our friends or something.)

So, another full day in which I didn't get much done!
