I was going to find some some quotations regarding freedom and security as reflections for this day, but it was way too depressing. Here's just one, from Hillaire Belloc:
Never could an increase of comfort or security be a sufficient good to be bought at the price of liberty.
So, let's celebrate the freedoms we have, and protect the liberties that seem to be slipping away.
Otis made it off to Maui is encondo-ed nicely now... yesterday was another lazy day for me... I did see Neds for coffee in the afternoon... and visited the gardening O and Dingo in the evening... time to cycle and cat-sit today!
